Material Business Planner, PepsiCo Beverages and Foods (2003 – 2005) Atlanta, GA Transitioned from corporate level planning to a manufacturing facility and expanded capabilities to manage all raw and package materials for a subset of product lines at the Atlanta manufacturing facility, in this role I was able to: • Revamp the existing ordering and replenishment process—leveraging benchmark standards which significantly improved performance indicators within one year • Successfully monitor critical high volume materials throughout the lifecycle of promotions by adjusting replenishment strategies and delivery schedules • Improve inventory accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and duration of the recounts through leadership of the periodic inventory count process, collaboration with Finance and Plant Operations, comprehensive training, strategic team selection, count prioritization and reinforcement of demonstrated inventory management best practices Supply Chain Planner, PepsiCo Beverages and Foods (2002 – 2003) Chicago, IL Worked as the corporate liaison managing label inventory for Tropicana products. Responsibilities included monitoring forecasts and overseeing the distribution of package material throughout the network of manufacturing sites • Oversaw smooth, cost effective product launches with 100% label material availability which mitigated potential inventory supply issues through monitoring of orders, delivery schedules, and forecast variations • Anticipated and avoided constraints relating to lead-time, logistics, and production adjustments while maintaining 100% production line capacity for sales forecasts • Collaborated with Marketing representatives to facilitate error free transitions of materials for product reformulations and new product introductions
