Responsible for developing and fulfilling the replenishment strategy for regularly stocked and promotional items within the Flooring & Appliance department, which included: • Securing the confidence of merchandising counterparts –through detailed analysis of category specific marketing trends, sales and forecasting projections in order to gain trust, autonomously manage the business and improve replenishment performance indicators • Successfully attaining approvals to lower inventory and costs associated with slow selling merchandise that were significantly over-stocked • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Import, Logistics, and Transportation departments to oversee the completion of promotions and events
