Daily Duties at Intel Corporation:

Liaison within the Substrates Business Group driving awareness of relevant inventory, supplier and technical progress on cross-functional teams, in this role I: • Minimized risks associated with new, lower demand items prior to their launch to high volume manufacturing by initiating communication efforts between product development teams and suppliers which ensured sufficient material availability and long term capacity • Proactively managed the forecast, short turn-around adjustments and changing business needs; and developed a standardized approach to identify and communicate material availability updates to project stakeholders, transforming basic general reports into a series of comprehensive analysis of production and forecast trends which secured team alignment on the replenishment needs of the business Strategic Commodity Manager, Intel Corporation (2011-2012) Worked within the Indirect Materials group managing the relationship between Intel and external IDM suppliers to achieve organizational objectives and goals, which included: • Negotiating multi-year contract agreements to replace older agreements with new legal guidelines, pricing standards and volume requirements that were aligned with forward-looking organizational goals • Managing supplier yearly goals and objectives to ensure that 1) expectations were aligned and that 2) progress was prioritized and measured regularly • Confirming that stakeholders from a breadth of cross functional teams were prepared for on-time launch of new product offerings • Creating analysis that cost effectively balanced volume allocations amidst competing suppliers with varying pricing structures without sacrificing pricing, quality or supplier relationships Professional & Career Development: Developed a Mentoring Program to integrate new employees and interns to the organization and to facilitate networking and career development for new Associates and participated in Women in Technology meetings to engage further within the industry
