Fast-track promotion through a series of increasingly responsible management positions, ultimately directing global marketing and sales for $400 million franchised car rental company. Full responsibility for local and national consumer and trade advertising, media, corporate, government and travel industry sales, direct marketing, strategic partnerships, sponsorships and events. Managed a team of 22 with five direct reports. Served as fiduciary trustee of the marketing fund, and collaborated with the Licensee Advertising Committee and company’s senior executive team to develop an $18 million marketing and sales budget. Challenged with building the brand and growing sales in a highly competitive environment.
