Daily Duties at Omnicare:

Responsible for managing and directing all staff toward meeting the goals and primary objectives of the Clinical Intervention Center which supports over 40 pharmacies across 14 states. • Primary focus for the Clinical Intervention Center is that of Formulary Management for Medicare Part D, Medicaid and other insurance plans and payers for residents in Long Term Care Facilities. • Partnered with various work groups both internally and externally to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all work including Therapeutic Interchange, Reject Resolution Management and other applicable clinical programs. • Involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of the pharmacy such as overall pharmacy performance including metrics and pharmacy workflow. • Responsible for staff development of 2 managers, 3 supervisors, and 13 staff pharmacist and 30+ associate team members. • Support the Clinical Intervention Senior Director in developing procedures for all areas.
