Daily Duties at Basf:
• Sole member of site environmental team, site responsible for all applicable regulations (Air – Major Source / Title V, CERCLA, Waste – RCRA, LQG, Water – CWA, NPDES, DOT) • Prepared technical portions of air and water (construction and operation) permits for encompassing debottlenecking/restructuring project and wastewater plant modification • Developed detailed environmental policies and procedures. Created comprehensive training programs that improved environmental compliance and awareness on both technical and labor related issues. Result: Ratable improvement to site environmental program • Conducted detailed compliance audits at facilities internal and external to BASF.
