• Reviewed and modified the processes and procedures of every department to improve operational efficiency with fewer staff members. • Took advantage of the high unemployment rate to hire and upgrade the caliber of sales personnel. • Executive management covered functional areas such as receiving, staffing and shipping to allow staff to remain focused on selling, testing and invoicing. • Refinanced debt to take advantage of lower interest rates. • Lowered the cost structure to the point where the company could reduce its pricing to customers and gain market share. • Increased accruals (as cash flow allowed) to protect against inventory write-downs, bad debt, etc. • Increased the focus on account receivables by calling customers to make sure invoices were received and in process well before the due date.
