Daily Duties at Source Interlink Companies:
• Developed strategic partnerships with our Wal-Mart magazine account including Corporate Buyer, Regional VPs, Market Managers & Store Management, to help grow magazine category. • Managed 75 million worth of business for SIC largest customer account. • Managed all in store project rollouts including, New & Remodel store set ups , promotional programs, plan-o-gram changeovers, test rack pilot program, and field execution of those. • Analyzed category trends and focused on sales opportunities with better product selection in underperforming stores • Oversaw communication for chain to SIC field service management to achieve best practice guidelines on all Wal-Mart/SIC mutual goals. • Created quarterly targeted action plans with SIC departments including category management, field service, & logistics to drive sales for underperforming stores (Weekly Sales Reports/Category Trend Reports). • Ensured merchandising standards, promotional placement, plan-o-gram integrity, & distribution selection met retailer’s guidelines. • Sold in all SIC products including rack programs and promotional vehicles, at both corporate and store level. • Conducted regular market tours to ensure merchandising met retailer’s guidelines, secured category space opportunities, & scheduled visits with Wal-Mart MM's & SM's to foster productive relationships & to promote category.
