Daily Duties at Saddleback Pediatric Medical Group:
Managed overall business office operations, accounts payable, payroll, payroll tax returns, electronic billing/accounts receivable systems, analysis, periodic audits, contract allowances, adjustments, appeals, collections and legal recovery procedures. Management of 30 employees and two locations. Implemented standardized CPT, ICD10 coding and HIPPA policy and procedures. Resolved patient/payer issues. Managed accounts receivable and revenues, statements and overall month end production reports. Balanced cash check payments and deposits. Maintained payer contracts. Managed all HR functions: selection, training, orientation, and supervision of departmental personnel, payroll, and performance evaluations, including hire and fire procedures.
