Daily Duties at Wgcl Tv (Cbs Affiliate) Atlanta, Ga:
-To develop local news stories sometimes with national & international relevance. -Participated in daily morning meetings to decide what stories would be covered by whom that day. -To schedule and Conduct interviews, ultimately to produce, write, & direct editing of video news stories to be aired in twice daily Live Newscasts. -To advise video photographers as to what video to shot to ultimately edit and produce the video piece. -I did Three-to-Four Part Series of 2&1/2 minutes in length. They were special reports with in-depth treatment of stories. -To do live presentations of news stories during live broadcasts. To answer questions Anchors might have about my story. This often involves ad-libbing and quick thinking on your feet as you often don't know ahead of time what the questions will be. -I also did fill-in News Anchoring when regular Anchors were off. -I met twice daily deadlines as an Anchor.
