Daily Duties at Madison County Hospital:

Charge nurse, supervision of staff, floating to ER to assist with transfers, direct patient care, notifying physicians of changes in patient status. Insure appropriate staffing for oncoming shift. Insuring proper documentation done for all patients. Assigning staff for appropriate patient care. Telemetry monitoring and documentation. Transfer documentation and arrangements made with accepting facility. Notifying families in the event of death, and notifying organ tissue procurement bank. Making arrangements for the deceased body per family request. Appropriate forms signed for release of body.
