• Converted data into Excel using extracted data from Crystal Reporting for generating daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Corporate Controller and CFO. • Modeled Excel spreadsheets after state revenue offices for accurate sales tax reporting. • Provided ad-hoc reporting and analytic support to management as needed. • Consolidated and analyzed monthly results, metrics, and budgets. • Recommended tax strategies by researching, interpreting, and implementing tax laws to the company. • Completed all company fleet insurance renewals and worked with the DOT and DMV to update registrations along with maintaining vehicle mileage and reporting all fleet activity to the state of North Carolina. • Performed quarterly and annual reconciliation of General Ledger accounts specifically associated with tax liability. • Integrated new internal processes for the tax department in respect to new jurisdictional statues to insure accurate tax deviation and administration. • Generated new Excel models for sister company facilities and streamlined all monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes reporting after mergers. • Developed and implemented new tax software via testing and 3rd party vendors.
