Daily Duties at Stock Building Supply :
• Streamlined procurement and managed suppliers with Oracle ERP Software. • Analyzed supplier raw material quotes in Oracle. • Performed skilled vendor surveys to attain the best pricing for the company thus passing on the savings to the customer. • Managed Year-end physical inventory by delegating specific product to teams which were formed from store staff. Generated all reports and performed random audits before submitting final inventory counts to the corporate office. • Compiled customer data, current inventory levels, and pre-fabricated order needs to develop optimum purchasing opportunities with suppliers. • Investigated areas of improvement for the Stair Division and the company and worked with business manager until the methods were streamlined and implemented. • Negotiated specialty pricing for custom orders and schedule 3rd party pick-up and delivery based on customer and/or job requirements. • Purchased and scheduled arrival of raw materials for manufacturing of customer special orders.
