Daily Duties at Lake City Medical Center:

Direct patient care. Admissions, assessments, med administration using scanning protocol.Computerized charting using (meditech). Communicating with physicians, supervisors and other care givers reguarding pt needs or changes in status. Entering order electronically. Reporting lab and test results as indicated. Providing a safe enviroment for pt families and staff. Educating pt and families about diagnosis, procedures, medications and safety. Discharge process, collaborating with case management to ensure pt needs were met upon discharge. Assisting with bedside procedures. Preparing pts for tests and procedures. Monitoring telemetry. Assisting pts with ADL's.
