Daily Duties at Advanced Imaging:

originally hired part-time, do to hard work and my abilities, made full-time.Responsible for scheduling patients,ordering radioactive nuclides,injecting patients for the proper exams,disposing properly of nuclear waste and logging it into the Syntrac software.Performed Hida scans with CCK,Parathyroid scans,Whole body,Limited, Three-Phase and S.P.E.C.T Bone scans,Gastric emptying scans,Tc-99m White Blood Cell studies,Thyroid scans with I-123 and Tc-99m Pertechnetate.Perfusion Lung Scans,Processing and sending finished exams through PACS to be read on time,Logging all pertinent information into Syntrac software to be archived.Maintaining Quality Control and Quality Assurance on the gamma camera and Dose calibrator.Positron Emission Tomography imaging.Assisted in getting the department accredited through the American College of Radiology.
