Direct Synthesis Project (Project Lead) Designed a pilot scale batch reactor in the plant and upgraded it to a continuous process for an R&D project to test a new method of manufacturing Cupric Oxide Generated and revised LOTO procedures, P&IDs and SOPs Trained operators and supervised contractors to safely manage plant equipment Performed process simulation on Chemcad for the energy and mass balances Operated and monitored the pilot process to get a high yield and quality of product Engaged in team meetings for continuous process improvements and troubleshooting Accomplished process optimization by varying impact parameters for enhanced product quality Heat Exchanger Project (Project Lead) Performed designing, sizing and cost estimation of the heat exchanger to be installed Analyzed chemical recovery for increased production and cost savings Executed process simulation on Chemcad to check for the pressure-temperature variations Conducted lab testing, data analysis and stream table calculations
