Daily Duties at Cochise Regional Hospital:
Responsible for opening a Nuclear medicine lab up,advising my supervisor on ordering Hot Lab equipment, setting up the Hot Lab and establishing the proper working protocols and procedures for both the Hot Lab and the whole Nuclear Medicine Lab.Writing the imaging procedures and guidelines for each exam, implementing the exams.QC and QA for the gamma camera and the dose calibrator.Performed Hida scans with CCK and Microlipids,Whole body bone scans and S.P.E.C.T,gastric emptying scans,Cardiolite myocardial perfusion scans.Processing the studies and sending them through PACS to be read by the Radiologist and Cardiologist.Keeping track of the department budget.Reporting any problems to my supervisor.
