Daily Duties at University Of Miami:

- Conducting Clinical Research Projects on human cerebrovascular malformations (brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations) and stroke, for the identification of the neurocognitive and functional outcomes of patients that undergo endovascular procedures for the management of cerebrovascular malformations and stroke. - Setting up Basic Research Projects aimed at understanding the role of the immune system, specifically the pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF and its receptors, in the formation, development and progression of cerebrovascular malformations, such as brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations. - Setting up the University of Miami Cerebrovascular Initiative. - Clinical Trail Coordination (retrospective and prospective stroke studies). - Grant writing for intra- and extra-mural funding. - Supervising medical students (research training, writing of systematic reviews).
