Daily Duties at Jacobs Engineering Group:
Experience included a variety of Entry Level assignments and responsibilities: • Performed supervised AutoCAD production of all preliminary and final Civil Engineering plan sets. • Research and resolution of typical AT/FP and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements. • Observed design-charrette stakeholder meetings. • Frequent interdisciplinary coordination prior to scheduled design reviews to avoid utility and grading plan conflicts. • Design and incorporation of a bio swale to meet LEED and permitting objectives. • Typical Hydrologic and Hydraulic design analysis (water, wastewater, storm water). • Minor site inspections, surveys, and coordination with local Fire Dept. as needed for hydrant testing and regulated fire water contingency flow rates. • Infrastructure Master Planning and modeling (water and wastewater utilities). • Misc. quantities estimating (earthwork, linear feet and diameter of pipe, etc.)
