Daily Duties at Sierra Health Services / United Healthcare:
Managed a large book of business consisting of approximately 800+ small groups 2- 100 employees with Medical, Dental Vision, and/or Life and AD&D group contracts. As well as cross-sold and implemented additional products to existing assigned customers. Maintained 90% or higher retention level continually year after year Consultative sales providing Brokers and Clients with product knowledge, and recommendations based on comparing and contrasting products and benefits within product portfolio as well as against the competition Provided Leadership within the team to other account executives and support team by using my vast knowledge of products, state policy, operations, claims and many resources. Complex issue research and resolution for Broker and Client • Eligibility • Provider/Member Access • Claims • Pharmacy • Billing • Prior Authorization Facilitated open enrollment meetings and presented plans and benefits to educate clients or employees on their plans/benefits. As well as compare and contrast the plans. Collaborated with Sales Management and other departments such as Underwriting, Group Services, and Claims, as well as other integral departments to develop best practices.
