Daily Duties at Calamos Investments:

50% of time: Responsible for investing separately managed convertible bond strategies under Portfolio Management’s discretion. This task entailed: Monitor strategy holdings, execute trades under Portfolio Management’s discretion, raising cash withdrawal requests, and complete portfolio reports while working closely with the trade desk for trade execution monitoring and expectations mainly in the fixed income market. Remaining 50% of hours: Complete Jr. Analyst projects such as company reviews, high yield and convertible bond deal analysis, earnings summaries, and other statistical research across all assets classes including growth and value equity in addition to the above.
