Daily Duties at Emblemhealth :

• Managing personnel of 60 employees ( management and union) • Formulating, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to eliminate interdepartmental inefficiencies • Preparing annual budget and merit review of management staff • Successfully creating training artifacts as well as training staff (both in-house and branch offices) thus reducing the need for re-tooling at a future date • Partnering with relevant area management to ensure timely receipt of claims and adequate response to inquiries while maintaining an acceptable inventory level and cycle time as dictated by various clientele • Conducting audits of internal staff and vendors to determine operational adherence to corporate initiatives and productivity standards thus achieving < 3% error ratio and processing 98% of receipts within seven business days
