Daily Duties at Jacobs Engineering:
• Facilitated engineering & construction support for Motiva CEP, refinery expansion with TIC of $10B. • Performed equipment design/sizing, equipment purchasing, equipment testing/inspection, and calculations. • Supported construction efforts by tracking storage/delivery of electrical equipment, answering RFI’s, responding to change orders, participating in field walk downs, creating engineering Scope of Work (SOW) packages • Project equipment included 11 new unit substations with TIC of $50MM • Created/reviewed area classification drawings, power/control cable schedules, one-lines, wiring diagrams. Performed materials take-off, voltage drop calculations, and sizing of cables. • Evaluated equipment cost using EES (estimating system), and maintained electrical equipment list. Purchased all bulks/miscellaneous electrical items, power cable, panelboards
