Daily Duties at Covestro:
Lead implementing and maintaining Vendavo pricing system, Competitor Information (Market Census), and customer relationship management (SAP CRM) for the region. Oversee Global Strategic Account Management plans including information gathering, decision-making, negotiations, and communications as needed. Designed Mobile Sales Aid app to be utilized in Sales and Marketing departments. Track and document status of new business in all projects, specifications, and sales from specifications to drive sales results and increase revenue. Serve as member of PCS LIFE team to identify cultural issues and recommend improvements. Senior Market Research Specialist – Polycarbonates [2006 – 2012] Managed market research and analysis for the Polycarbonate markets including gathering and analyzing market and competitive information, coordinating leads, and qualifying through the Field Sales personnel. Supported strategic and long-term market planning including segment growth and price development. Implemented SAP CRM to all sales for with 100% utilization. Managed the training and troubleshooting of CRM and master data to ensure standards compliance. Assigned Offering packages (customer segmentation) to all PCS customers. Business Analyst – Coatings and Polycarbonates [2003 – 2006] Interpreted financial analysis through data collection from activity reports, examining business unit productivity, and recommending process improvements to meet corporate objectives. Compiled budgets based on business strategy, prior performance, and operational costs. Produced preliminary budgets and provided to management for discussion. Conducted special analysis on product costs, inventories, assets, and profits for management. Prepared annual business plan including forecasts, expense allocations, and statistical analysis. Performed comparative analysis of financial results to budget, forecasts, and prior periods. Reporting Analyst – Polycarbonates [2001 – 2002] Developed actual and budget cost center allocation methodologies. Analyzed and reported on NAFTA financial summaries for actual, forecast, and budgeted sales. Calculated CFROI, ROA, and sales variances to include in business modeling. Provide innovative ideas to senior management to aid in process improvement. Business Analyst – Industrial Chemicals [1999 – 2001] Developed actual and budget cost center allocation methodologies. Analyzed and reported on NAFTA financial summaries for actual, forecast, and budgeted sales. Calculated CFROI, ROA, and sales variances to include in business modeling. Provide innovative ideas to senior management to aid in process improvement.
