Daily Duties at Fresenius Medical Care:
• Reviewed and verified invoices of $150M in daily deposits, ensuring accuracy of the invoices and appropriate application of invoice adjustments (debits & credits). • Prepare daily reports pertinent to the Cash Department for Divisional and Corporate Management. • Supported division Cash Accountants and provided all necessary data for General Ledger entries. • Formed relationships with revenue centers in order to improve communication and processes. • Reconciled General Ledger balance to the bank balance in excess of $10M spanning 7 bank accounts. Ensured all transactions were posted correctly in accordance to generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). • Assisted with the preparation and coordination of the month end close by ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with internal controls. • Analyzed and reviewed balance sheet account reconciliations. • Reconciled credits with problem invoices and accounts receivable requests. Followed up on discrepancies with facilities and billing groups within division with using SharePoint to assure timely resolutions. • Approved inter-company transfers and developed accruals based on documentation of receipt.
