Daily Duties at Hca:
Championing the HR function & organizational mission and vision Building buy-in for organizational change with agility across senior leadership Setting tone for changing facility culture Working with other executives to design, maintain, and champion the mission, vision and strategy of the organization Maintaining a culture that requires all employees to report unethical practices Aligning all HR practices with ethics, laws and standards Serving as a strategic contributor to organizational decision-making regarding fiscal, service lines, operations, human capital, and technological areas. Overseeing HR decision-making processes to ensure consistency with HR and business strategy Creating talent management strategies by utilizing innovative business solutions that align with and drive business strategy Maintaining expert knowledge in the use of data evidence-based research, benchmarks, and HR and business metrics to make critical decisions. Developing strategies for acquiring and retaining a high-performing workforce, using internal and external resources. Designing and implementing strategies for sourcing recruiting, candidate evaluation, and retention Designing and implementing appropriate pay, benefit, incentive, and separation/severance systems and programs. Supporting the communication, understanding, and implementation of the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategy. Consulting on and developing an effective labor strategy with the desired impact on the facility and the workforce. Educating employees, managers, and leaders at all levels about the organization's labor strategy and its impact on the achievement of goals and objectives.
