Daily Duties at Central Intelligence Agency:

Responsible for developing and implementing overall big data strategy. Led agency-wide effort to institute data governance framework using business, process, and data models. Closely collaborated with mission authorities to develop and implement regulations, policies, practices, procedures, and architectures that efficiently managed the entire data lifecycle and enabled better decision-making, reduced operational friction, improved mission effectiveness, and protected stakeholder equities. Led enterprise-wide training efforts to help ensure compliance with Federal laws and organizational policies. Reduced overall data management costs and increased effectiveness through coordination of efforts across entire organization. Facilitated organizational activities to establish new organizational components, rules, policies, standards, guidelines, authorities, and compliance methods for people and information systems as they perform information-related processes. Provided transparency into systems, data processing efforts, and data usage and reported status to the Director, Congressional oversight committees, and the White House on a regular basis.
