Daily Duties at Sofa Express:
Managed a group of technical professionals who together were responsible for service delivery, project delivery, security, disaster recovery capabilities, hosting, and end user experience. Maintain VMware 3.0 environment. Maintain IT disaster recovery plan. Worked with VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, Networking (LAN, WAN, HP Switching, & WIFI), Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems and SQL Server. Served as primary vendor contact for all network and service related hardware, software, data connectivity and telecommunications; negotiating for improved service and favorable terms. Provided recommendations to the CEO on technology for solving complex and varied problems to enhance the service and support of the computing platforms. Developed and implemented network and server support and trouble resolution procedures.
