Daily Duties at Sts Aviation Group:
• Performed routine daily checks of equipment and airworthiness inspections and cleanliness checks on the In-Service aircraft ensuring aircraft are in a safe and airworthy condition. • Disassembles, inspects, maintains and reassembles aircraft as required by different inspection systems. • Performs preventative maintenance. • Assists in heavier inspections, repairs and modifications. • Applies continuous improvement within the maintenance process. • May sign mechanic block following maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls and modifications. • The Maintenance Technician will be part of the uncontrollable standby time rotation for unscheduled maintenance and will be responsible for repairs in a timely manner for In-Service aircraft as necessary, Maintains maintenance facility and equipment cleanliness
