I established the local marketing presence in North America after Lufthansa Systems was spun off as a separate IT company from Lufthansa Airlines. I had marketing plan and budget responsibilities for all target markets (airlines, airports, hotels; cargo handlers, general corporate/industrial enterprises) and vendor relationships; directed implementation of plan, monitoring advancement over all marketing channels (Direct Mail, E-mail Marketing, Telemarketing, Internet, Trade Shows, Conferences; Advertising; Special Customer Events and media/DVD production.)
