Daily Duties at Rexel:

•Reported to the HR Manager with a dotted line responsibility to the HR Director. •Provided leadership and guidance to 3 team members (serving 7,000 employees) as assistant to the HR Managers while administering HR related documentation (i.e. offer letters, employment contracts, leavers’ information and pension information). •Carefully conducted background checks and drug screenings for potential employees. •As lead administrator streamlined daily HR processes for multiple divisions. •Managed and maintained all active and inactive personnel files. •Served as a liaison between vendors and HR staff ensuring the HR database was current, accurate and in compliance with relevant legislation. •Was the first point of contact for all HR related inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs and system related issues. •Monitored and ensured the accuracy of weekly payroll timecards for managers and employees. •Collected data and prepared HR management reports. •Coordinated and conducted conference calls with key stakeholders to discuss legal and government regulations affecting company policies and procedures. •Facilitated all aspects of hiring process like scheduling interviews, issuing related correspondence, conducting employment verifications, etc.
