Daily Duties at United States Army, Department Of Defense:

Write and disseminate operation orders, coordinate with subordinate units to disseminate tasks, plan and implement training that is deemed pertinent to the scope of the battalions needs per the S-3 and battalion commander. Write, edit, and disseminate standard operating procedures and any changes in policies or procedures. Track and update the S-3 with the unit readiness across the battalion. Manage the unit daily calendar, regarding meetings, appointments, and future operations. Lead and participate in numerous quarterly operation briefings and training resource meetings that provide purpose to peers while disseminating tasks and developing plans of action.
