Daily Duties at Deloitte:
Performed audits on diverse portfolio including financial services, manufacturing, retail, mortgage, investment companies, pension schemes and government agencies Apply technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and US GAAP to enable effective completion of audit engagements. Assisted in planning work on assigned segments of an audit. Identified, documented and tested internal controls that are relevant to management assertions. Prepared acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment. Reviewed transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness. Performed all audit work on small engagements, including planning, control evaluation and review of financial statement. Identified and communicated management points and other technical issues related to assigned sections to engagement management.
