Daily Duties at Caterpillar:
• Managed 1.1M square foot operation at Caterpillar Logistics Services in Victoria, and was responsible for daily operations to ensure client service levels, facility metrics, and production targets were achieved. • Was responsible for managing a staff of 5 managers who supervised approximately 110 hourly workers. • Provided direction and guidance for continuous quality improvements. Developed and implemented operational changes to reduce costs and/or improve efficiency utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodology. • Worked with cross-functional leadership teams to develop/review operational procedures, packaging issues, and Logistics Quality Standards. Assigned to supporting NAHEX from a Logistics perspective. • Promoted and supported day-to-day operational and safety issues with support of management team. • Duties included managing all Logistics operations, using MACH1 and SAP computer applications.
