Daily Duties at Us Green Fiber Llc:
Managed all aspects of a cellulose fiber insulation manufacturing facility servicing the housing construction market, manufactured housing facilities, and big box retail stores. At peak production it was a 3 shift operation with over 50 personnel in production, QC, maintenance, distribution, procurement, customer service, and HR. Complete P&L, capital, and budgetary responsibility for the facility. The hiring and firing manger for all personnel in the facility. • Hit annual EBITDA of $1.75 million on sales of $12.2 by controlling direct and indirect COG’s to $10.5. • Dropped OSHA recordable incident rate from 10.56 in 2008 to 0 in 2012. • Directed the conversion of a majority temp work force to a 100% GreenFiber employee workforce. • Eliminated quality complaints through process improvements and oversight. • Implemented a TPM program for the maintenance department to move from reactive to proactive maintenance. • Focused on lean concepts that eliminated NVA time and improved process to increase through put. • Oversaw numerous major capital projects to improve and automate the facility.
