• Analyzed product specification documents, identified product features that need to be modelled, and produced the requirements for designing the model • Advanced the existed hedging model in MoSes using derivatives to add a floor as return promises and tested the accuracy of the model in Excel • Produced a fixed index annuity with GMWB rider cash flow model using VBA to efficiently generate election cohorts • Built a fixed index annuity with GMWB rider cash flow model in Excel using VBA to efficiently generate election cohorts • Built VBA model that projects all High Water products’ cash flows for the $2 billion of ALIM for this product line • Built models in both Moses and spreadsheet and checked spreadsheet model against DA-ALIM for High Water products • Wrote a multi-stage program in VBA for the Allianz Life Long Term Care block that creates an indexing system that enables the extraction of all table information from one set of criteria, and formats the output in a fashion that can be easily imported into an Excel testing tool
