Drove Strategies for the Supply Chain Strategic and Tactical Sourcing activities for direct and indirect purchases, materials, forecasting, logistics management and inventory operations. Developed and implemented processes, metrics, and management approach across BellAero business units that maximizes profitability, minimizes inventory, and supports Textron enterprise-wide solutions leveraging synergy across the entire corporation. Managed cost & schedule for all parts procured, repaired/overhauled and budget for supply chain organization against a fix annual allocation fee for multiple business units. • P&L Responsibility for all supply chain operations: procured parts, out sourced repairs and overhauls, warehousing and inventory control, kitting operations, dispatching, and transportation across multiple affiliate organizations. • Developed and Implemented “Future State” plan integrating: new kitting capability, long term supplier contracts, 3PL (third party logistics) provider for bench stock & consumables, and relocation of all warehousing activities to support a production pull system in an MRO environment. • Reduced Material cost of helicopter refurbishment by 18%. • Captured and centralized all material (WIP, Repaired parts, New Buys) for kitting and controlled distribution – reduced inventory dollars by 45%, reduced manufacturing billed hours by 20%. • Established international customer and supplier relationships for business growth and reduction in build cost. • Established strategic value relationships and trust with DOD, DoD FMS, Commercial and Foreign customers through Supply Chain initiatives.
