Daily Duties at Eckerd Drug:
dispensing approximately 400 prescriptions per day. Prepared schedules for staff of 10 pharmacy technicians and other supportive personnel. Oversee the day to day processing, dispensing and delivery of medications to include supervision of work of the pharmacy technicians. Ability to serve as a preceptor. In addition to comprehensive pharmaceutical care through filling prescriptions, providing clinical services, and counseling patients, the pharmacy manager, serves as a role model for the pharmacy team in overseeing and directing service delivery. Knowledge of pharmacy operation in conformance with all statutes and regulations pertinent to the practice of pharmacy. Oversee inventory management, quality control and gross profitability.
