Daily Duties at Walmart:

Apply skills to provide services at pharmacies with a volume of 2,800-3,300 prescriptions filled weekly. Responsible for dispensing, patient counseling and customer service. Communicate with patients, physicians, nurses, case managers, insurance compannies, to promote therapeutic appropriateness. Enhance care by utilizing knowledge of medication therapy management to help physicians and patients manage drug therapy by identifying, preventing and resolving medication related problems to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved. Ensure all state and federal regulatory standards are met for the pharmacy and services offered and provided. Educate and train staff on knowledge of drugs and on regulatory standards and standard operating procedures
