Daily Duties at Banerjee & Associates:

Leveraging my business acumen, technological expertise and experiences to provide integrated solutions, business/software/application lifecycle management (development through use of Waterfall, Agile (including Scrum), Rapid Prototyping, FRS development & JAD sessions), go-to-market strategies and implementable with measureable outcomes.  Developed a holistic approach to provide omni-channel/consumer centric strategies to retailers.  Aligning key stakeholders to a solution architecture, including management, internal staff, customers, suppliers, analysts, financial community and potential share holders  Internet of Things (IoT), smarter commerce & integrated sensor technologies – providing what consumers want, at the right time, the right place, the right price and ideally showing them what they have yet to realize they would also like. Anchored by measurable value proposition, qualitative and quantitative, to retailers  Location based services (LBS) – RFID, WiFi positioning, GPS, BLE with a focus on enhancing point of contact, ease of commerce and overall consumer experience  Web presence management & e-commerce – aligning physical and digital revenue while eliminating redundancy, minimizing pain points, improving overall customer satisfaction and increasing brand value  Mobile retail – creating empowered customers and enabled employees in progressive store environments leveraging RFID, LBS, customer digital identity and agile product management  Mobile/integrated POS maintaining PCI DSS compliance  Assisted selling and enabled employees  Infrastructure supporting micro-location marketing, precision location and personalized opportunities  Integrated M-commerce and E-commerce merging  Flexible fulfillment for purchases – Buy online & pickup anywhere  Inventory & supply chain management, , dynamic pricing and streamlined back of office  Consumer insight – structuring and mining both behavioral data as well as attitudinal data, while evaluating quantitative and qualitative views through dashboards  Market research and industry analysis leading to rich business data & consumer insight  Social media – establishing meaningful dialogue with context that drives awareness and stickiness  Employee training and support fulfilling the customer experience consistent with the corporate brand  Big Data & Visualization Tools – Leveraged both “Multiple V” and 6C methodologies to ensure that the right elements (structured and unstructured data) are captured, digested and viewable (Tableau & Dundas) as close to real time as needed  During my seven years as a consultant, some of the highlights of key projects that demonstrated challenging environments, innovative outcomes and accepted solution architectures/integrations, include: 1. Lead a team to further the vision of an International multi-billion dollar toy retailer’s omni-channel strategy. The specific concentration was on e-commerce & mobility (empowered customers and enabled employees (mobile POS and customer service)) and how it fits into the customer experience. Extremely challenging considering no steady state for all stores … performed consumer experience mapping, agile assessment, technology architecture development, metrics for success and go-to-market strategy using small targeted foot print for roll out. 2. Strategic advisor to the Executives of the 3rd and final several hundred acre beach front casino resort, hotel, and residential development to be created in the Bahamas. Activities included, market analysis (required for the casino license), full analysis of the entire ecosystem of the resort (gaming, retail, hospitality, travel services and entertainment) and providing the appropriate technology architecture, product management, experience mapping, vendor / partner selection for implementation of a smarter commerce platform – one form of secure payment (form factor independent) and CRM for all services within the resort and the surrounding area. 3. Interim Chief Innovation Officer for Healthcare Application Service Provider delivering patient satisfaction services to over 20 hospitals and associated patients. Implemented streamlined intake and discharge (HIPAA compliant) through call center including Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, patient experience mapping, mitigating pain points, patient specific digital education regarding treatment streamed to room TVs/displays, in-room gaming and entertainment, digital signage, non-medical concierge integrated into a central call center, acceptance of payment (all major credit cards) for services rendered through the call center (PCI compliant Visual Basic application integrated with a Mitel switch). Training and remote support for nursing staff, developed a strategic partnership with American Express for cash payments and POS integration into gift shops. 4. Advisor to the CEO of a rapidly expanding eyewear company as they moved from purely e-commerce to physical stores and pop-up environments. Assisted in initial eCommerce vendor selection, omni-channel solutions for … online selection and home experience for free and then experience in store and wear at home for free, long term strategies for pop-up in-store environments (currently located in Urban Outfitters – consumer/employee experience, mobile POS and expanding talent management & training strategies). 5. A 6 month engagement with a large multi-billion dollar retailer looking to migrate to a new e-commerce platform. Lead the hybrid software/application development process of waterfall and agile. Phase 1, the requirements and feature set analysis resulting in the selection of Demandware as the eCommerce platform. Phase 2, beginning next year, after enterprise integration, will begin leveraging other features … primarily Demandware Digital Store Solution. 6. An engagement with a large Independent Software Vendor (ISV) interested in expanding their mobility in retail offering (mobile POS primary driver integrated with e-commerce platforms). It began with an education of empowered customers and enabled employees. Followed by requirement analysis and new solution architecture using lead integrators including Zebra / Motorola Solutions (Zebra acquired Motorola Solutions earlier this year), Honeywell and Apple. 7. Multiple projects in Oakland ranging from high tech high touch immersive spaces at Laney College, physical retail store infrastructure (WAN/LAN design) and advising several mixed use (commercial space, retail and entertainment) developments for “physical space of the future integrated with digital spaces.” 8. A few examples of web presences from concept, initial meetings and scope, information architecture and project management – Ritz Carlton Residences at Vail (http://www.theresidencesvail.com) - Flash and Data driven using AS, Redford Center (www.redfordcenter.org) - social and media driven and Learning Styles (www.learningstyles.net) – education and learning behavior analysis, online questionnaire, data driven analysis and eCommerce.  Design and development of large scale resort/mixed use real estate developments. The foundation of which is a technology agnostic architecture enabling connected construction, workforce deployment, facility operations and guest experience which results in additional financing opportunities.  Mentoring and consulting through Syracuse University for technology start-ups and overall entrepreneurship.
