Daily Duties at Sun Trust Bank:
• Support users of DB2 data warehouses with Data Partitioning Feature (DPF or multi-node) in a financial environment with very large databases up to 100 terabytes • Analyze queries generated by Cognos for performance improvement opportunities • Install and configure DB2 v9.5 and V9.7 on Windows and AIX platforms • Create database maintenance scripts to perform database backups, runstats, reorgs, in accordance with IBM Best Practices standards
