Daily Duties at Verizon California:
Provide detailed reports and presentations to executive level in order to drive compliance and meet objectives for Verizon Outside Plant Construction, for example: labor costs, contract labor costs, material costs, vendor invoicing, and employee productivity. Create Method and Procedures and technical bulletins for the Verizon Outside Plant work group. Project Management for Outside Plant activities ranging in multiple aspects: • Implementation of tablets to all construction employees across California (Android) • Establish system access and provide training and support to 450 employees on a national platform to manage material inventory, time sheet entry, network prints and productivity. • Work with regulatory as a Construction Consultant on California Regulatory issues • Maintain multiple internal websites • Perform software user acceptance testing, training, and support • Facilitate external VPN/Firewall system access for vendors, and provide training and trouble escalation on system issues. • Work with external vendors on new products and field trials.
