Daily Duties at Take Care Health Systems:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat an average of 20-30 patients per day with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses in a walk-in retail health clinic • Prepare and administer vaccinations to children and adults according to CDC guidelines • Perform pre-employment, school, and sports physical exams • Complete patient documentation, ICD-9 coding, and CPT coding using custom built EMR system • Responsible for clinic supply ordering/inventory, and quality assurance of point of care tests run in clinic • Scheduling of medical assistants in clinic • Collaborated with pharmacy, store, and corporate staff to open and advertise a new clinic and to develop strategies to improve patient experience, increase patient numbers and return visits
