Daily Duties at Fed Comp, Inc.:
Lead and manage the accounting and finance function including a team of 6 direct employees with zero turnover in two years. Responsible for management of all key accounting functions including GL, accounts payable, accounts receivable, commissions and payroll. Provide support to over 48 internal customers and over 1800 external customers. Responsible for creating annual budget and budget reporting. Analyze budget deviations and provide recommendations / make necessary recommendations to correct problem. Oversee monthly close process and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for Executive Management. Managed and negotiated annual review of employee health and business insurance renewals. Produce weekly/annual cash flow forecasting. Direct and administer flexible spending accounts, 401K (including 401K annual census and 5500 reporting and top-heavy analysis), sales and use tax reporting, year-end W-2 and 1099 reporting. Reconcile all operating and investment accounts. Retain amortization/depreciation schedule of all assets. Determine credit worthiness of potential customers and assign credit risk and limitations. Negotiate vendor terms and agreements. Responsible for all SBA compliance, including all reporting and the renewal process. Chief liaison to outside CPA and all other Government entities.
