Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:
• Installed and configured 2 C7000 enclosures containing 2 BL890, 1 BL860 and 2 BL460 with OpenVMS 8.4 and Windows Server 2008 used for migration of customer applications to newer technology and reducing supportability costs. • Developed and documented migration plan from ES80 to Integrity Blade resulting in the statement of work and smooth transition of applications from one architecture to another. • Designed site guide to describe site configuration and processes utilizing VISIO, EXCEL and Word, resulting in increased efficiency of supportability in disaster recovery configurations. • Configured Brocade switch and MSL5000 NSR to share resources between Integrity and Alpha servers resulting in efficient migration of old to new technologies. • Installed Integrity Blade Proof of Concept to propose a new configuration for migration of existing systems; customer purchased new systems due to successful implementation, testing and quality. • Provided system administration and support at customer sites to manage and maintain operations. • Installed and configured layered products including Apache TOMCAT, SAMBA, GNV • Installed client/server applications on windows server to monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot multiple client systems which provided ease of site supportability. • Provided high level of technical support to enhance total customer experience and increased customer loyalty of HP products and services. • Documented team and customer processes; utilized the Remedy system to document customer issues and work performed which tracked history and fixes. • Assisted team members to increase resolution time of end user requests; provided training on areas of expertise.
