Director, Global R&D IT • Project Manager: Owned and managed the global portfolio of projects from project creation thru transition to operational support within approximately $20M capital and operating budget. • IT Leadership Team and R&D Business Relationship Management: member the R&D Business Leadership Committee and Business Partner for all R&D executives. • Global Submission and Content Management: created multiple applications and environment to electronically file applications and content to regulatory agencies throughout the world • Application/Product Development: Developed multiple applications for Regulatory and Compliance Tracking by leading large teams of developers both on-site and off-shore. o Learning Management Product: developed an LMS application that became a new industry standard to track compliance with regulatory guidance for global agencies and to demonstrate compliance during audits. • Strategy and Roadmap: Developed a Strategic Vision for Content and Learning Management and created a Learning Management System to track compliance with regulatory guidance for global agencies (demonstrate compliance during audits.) • SaaS and Vendor Management: Focusing on externalization of IT, leveraged SaaS and hosted environments to implement the global solutions for multiple cross-Business Units (e.g., SAS SDD delivered by SaaS and LMS through ASP.) • Operations: Led successful effort to transition operational and “business as usual” tasks to an out-sourced provider.
