Daily Duties at Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation:
Responsible for all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, banking and treasury management, taxes, internal controls, audits, payroll and employee benefits. Overseeing financial reporting and regulatory compliance for 58 subsidiaries totaling 5,000+ units, 300 employees, and over $200M in assets. Monitoring and reporting financial activities of all projects in development, currently 12 projects with a total construction budget over $137M. Monitoring and reporting performance returns of a $10M+ investment portfolio. Maintaining relationships with lenders, investors, bankers, auditors, and various outside agencies. Attending Board of Directors meetings presenting budgets and discussing actual results. Supervising accounting, finance, and payroll staff.
