Daily Duties at Whichwich Superior Sandwiches:
Oversee 20+ employees Control all hiring/terminations Marketing to local businesses to encourage catering Performing weekly inventory checks Responsible for all ordering Training of all new employees Operating in a leadership position The unique thing about restaurants is that the sale is almost guaranteed, thus the object is not to sell the food but to sell the decision they made by ordering the food. My job at Whichwich was to give the customer an experience that creates a desire to return, and to convince the customer that the money they spent was well worth it. One bad experience can cause a customer to never have the desire to return to a restaurant, this is why I trained my employees to focus on quality and consistency rather than to purely focus on their speed of output.
