Daily Duties at Nitterhouse Concrete Products:
Responsible liaison between job sites and production scheduling to insure production met customers delivery expectations. Develop and refine warehousing and loading functions to optimize transportation profitability. Updated and maintained AS400 operating system to reflect current status of project, utilizing Microsoft Projects and Project Sequencing to aid in production and deliveries. Work with in house contractor as well as subcontractors to develop the construction sequence of various jobs that included warehouses, parking garages, hotels, residential housing, and retirement communities. Implement a yard location system that gave visibility to the management group and increased efficiency to loading and finishing processes. Worked with the engineering department to develop specific dunnage to optimize loads and protect assets . Coordinated time sensitive deliveries throughout the Northeastern Market utilizing dedicated carrier and company drivers, while insuring customer service and safety standards were maintained . Review each job to determine if appropriate transportation budget was assessed for each job.
