Daily Duties at Gabler, Inc.:
Supervise 2 dispatchers, 1 admin clerk, and 1 billing clerk along with 30+ drivers servicing the Mid Atlantic Region while reporting directly to the ownership group. Daily review of drivers hours of service logs, trip reports, pre and post trip inspections, as well as other regulatory standards. Daily negotiate freight with brokers and customers to accommodate loads for available drivers based on rates, credit worthiness, DOT regulations , and proper equipment. Review TMS to insure compliance, fairness, and sensibility to all loads being dispatched. Train, coach, and insure morale of drivers were maintained based on the companies standards and philosophies. Maintain customer TMS and follow up on all issues pertaining to OS&D issues insuring 100% satisfaction to the customer. Continually update, train, and develop myself and drivers on DOT ever changing regulations through review and studying of periodicals and announcements.
